Reflecting upon the timestamp of my last journal entry and realizing that it's really been a while since then, it's certainly difficult to find a subject to start all this again, or anything to write about for that mattter. It feels like, where to start, what to say, how to break that thick silent ice again. In any case it would be impossible to monologue about the past two years of my life so the best thing I could do is let it flow.

So without further ado, I'm back to deviantART. The asylum of my soul. Thanks for keep visiting my page, favoriting my work, thanks for giving me a good reason to smile. :)

On copyright and advice

Sun Jun 25, 2006, 2:01 PM
First all, I'm aware that dA is changing the copyright policies here and honestly I couldn't care less. My position regarding this issue is, and always will be, the following:

All and every single deviation I create and submit here or anywhere has no copyright. You are completely free to: use, reproduce, distribute, interpret, misinterpret, distort, mash it up, love it, hate it, hack it, exploit it, make yourself rich with it, even claim your authorship, without my consent or the permission of anybody.

On the other hand, I really enjoy when someone send me a message asking for any kind of advice, I find that particulary rejoicing, the mere act of helping others achieving their goals makes me feel really good, and despite the fact that I'm a technology consultant therefore that's my work and it actually pays my bills, I'm the first to maintain that money should never interfere between a person and her/his dreams. That said, feel free to contact me, always, anytime. I will do my best to reply you on time.

OMFG! 2000 pageviews!?

Well this time with much less neologisms, rhetorics or dialectics but really with a lot of synthesis, you all people just make me happy, i mean, my life is, quite plain if you will, not boring, but not neccesarily successful though, and well, all this dA thingy, you know, just makes me smile and it's another good reason to wake up everyday :) LOVE!

Nunca Más!

Fri Mar 24, 2006, 5:16 AM
Today in Argentina, my homeland, we're evocating the 30th anniversary of the United States-backed, state terrorist military junta that murdered up to 30.000 dissidents just to serve the western imperialism' agenda.

My heart is with every one of those brave fellow Argentinians who believed that a different world is possible.

Xara Xtreme comes to Linux!

Tue Mar 21, 2006, 1:56 PM
Xara Xtreme remains the most powerful (in terms of performance) and the most productive product available - these are objective measures and not just marketing spiel. Xara pioneered many of the graphic technologies that have become industry standard, from the first vector anti-aliasing, to the first vector transparency, including graduated transparency. The latest versions continue to innovate with dozens of industry firsts such as real-time vector feathering, embedded JPEG, the world's most efficient file storage, and unrivalled performance.

Linux needs a top-tier commercial-standard graphics program. The Linux desktop has come on leaps and bounds in the last year or so but it still lacks any vector or general purpose graphics program to genuinely compete with Windows and Mac commercial products. And although desktop Linux is evolving at a rapid rate, the platform is behind in the graphics market. We intend to change that.
